What is this?
- Keeping unpatrolled recent changes under at a realistically low level throughout the next two weeks
Why we are doing this
- To ensure that all edits are constructive in nature, so that less vandalism is seen by readers.
We are done when
- Unpatrolled edits stay under control, during the week unpatrolled edits don't get above 3,000 mark from Tuesday to Saturday (GMT) and above 5,000 on Sunday and Monday.
- Total aside: Hopefully in adding some structure and accountability, we'll have time to actually learn something from this process: notice new users, have time to note if there are there certain industries, locations- RC is, well, a lot of things, including a barometer of the site and how it is being used.
