InfoPros is a technical communication services firm providing technical documentation outsourcing, e-learning development and technical marketing communications. The company specializes in: technical writing, technical editing, training development, instructional design, Web site design, and project management.

History

InfoPros is the result of the merger of regional several firms unified by a goal of creating a documentation outsourcing firm with national reach. The parent company was originally named Horizon Interactive, based in Colorado Springs, with an office in Brookfield, WI. Horizon was purchased by Bernie Schneider in 2002, which was the start of the current growth phase. In August 2005, Horizon merged with Ace Communications, Inc., a Portland, OR-based firm. In early 2006, the combined company acquired Advacon, based in Durhman, NC. And in late 2006, the company merged with InfoPros, based in Folsom, CA, and subsequently adopted the 'InfoPros' name for the combined company.

Portfolio

The site includes a fairly extensive documentation and training portfolio and features several case studies on company projects. The samples offer a thorough explanation of the design and development process and make the case for the benefits of documentation outsourcing.
