Description
Rivers Camera and Telescope is a 4th generation family business founded in 1930. From humble beginnings, Edward Rivers set up shop in downtown Dover NH as a full service photographic studio. During the 1950's Edward Rivers' son, Andrew, led the transformation of Rivers studio into Rivers Camera and Telescope and began offering photographic supplies and film processing services to the citizens of Dover NH and its surrounding communities.
In 1970, Roger R. Rivers purchased the company from his uncle Andrew. In the late 1970's Rivers Camera and Telescope introduced Telescopes and Astronomy products to its photographic offerings.
Rivers' current owner, Roger E. Rivers, now carries on the Rivers' family tradition of offering quality products and services at competitive prices, always emphasizing personalized service for their customers.
