Hello, my name is Steffen Thorsen, 30 years old, and I am the main creator and only owner of this website. I live in Stavanger, Norway. This site is operated by "Time and Date AS" which is a Norwegian, private company. I want this to be a free, informational, continuously updated and correct service available all over the world. Over the years, timeanddate.com has gone from a hobby project to my primary occupation, enhancing and developing new services. The project originally started in 1995, with the World Clock, Calendar and countdown to year 2000 on my old Unix account where I studied. In 1998 and 1999 the services were gradually moved to the timeanddate.com domain.
