Title

CompactFish.com

Description

Personal site of Matthew Clemente. Includes a photography porfolio, Montreal's underground city, some censored journalism, Paris pictures, Olympic standings, and a little fun.

Matthewchrome

Matthewchrome is a photography portfolio, displaying among other things, an extensive collection of infrared photography. The name Matthewchrome is a play on the Kodachrome and Ektachrome brands of Kodak color reversal film.

Olympic Standings

CompactFish has compiled the final Olympic medal standings from the Torino 2006 and Beijing 2008 games. These standings are unique, however, as they are measured on a per capita basis. This is arguably a better ranking method than nominal medal counts, since larger countries obviously have greater athletic resources.

The standings are also available in a weighted version, which gives greatest weight to gold medals, followed by silver and bronze medals.
