Title
Neighborhood reviews, Neighborhood ratings, Peer recommendations on where to live
Description
“Where should I live?” is a question 40 million movers ask each year. We are all familiar with the difficulties of moving and in the end, we value advice from our peers the most.
So RentWiki.com is a new review and recommendation website to help people find a place to live. Instead of calling random friends or sorting through hundreds of rental listings on Craigslist.com, we provide renters with peer reviews and advice on apartments and neighborhoods.
Our Team
The RentWiki team has more than 40 years experience in the online rental space. We have founded sites like ApartmentGuide.com, Rentals.com, NewHomeGuide.com, RealEstate.com, and LiveByCampus.com. And we hope to make moving much easier.
Jamie Gallo, Co-Founder and CEO – Jamie was the President of Consumer Source Interactive where she founded and grew many successful online businesses, including ApartmentGuide.com, Rentals.com, RealEstate.com, and other homes and auto sites. While President, ApartmentGuide.com generated more renter leads than any other apartment site. Jamie also launched RealEstate.com, Rentals.com, and NewHomeGuide.com. Jamie has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Wharton School of Business.
Robert Turnbull, Co-founder and President Before RentWiki.com, Robert was Vice President of Rentals.com. Prior to Rentals, Robert was Vice President of ApartmentGuide.com. Prior to Consumer Source, he owned a successful marketing and PR company based in Colorado.
Jonathan Ford, Co-founder and COO – Jonathan Ford manages product and technology development for RentWiki.com. Jonathan was Vice President of Consumer Source Interactive for the New Homes Division and is credited with growing the lead performance of that online offering by over 580%. He was the Director of Product Development with responsibilities for ApartmentGuide.com, RealEstate.com, NewHomeGuide.com, AmericanHomeGuides.com and other sites.
Eric Wu, Co-founder, Chief Marketing Officer – Eric Wu is a 20 something year old entrepreneur in San Francisco and manages RentWiki’s user community. In 2007, Eric was named one of BusinessWeeks' Top 25 Entrepreneur Under 25. Before RentWiki.com, Eric was the co-founder of LiveByCampus.com, an off-campus housing directory powered by student interns. Also, at the age of 19, Eric started a real estate investment trust that has purchased, owned, and managed over 25 investment properties.
