The Materials Division provides a wide and diverse range of property tests. From the design stage through production and application, Bodycote can provide test protocols covering the full spectrum of both materials and service conditions. Engineered materials including metals, polymers, composites and ceramics are routinely tested under varying temperature and atmospheric conditions. In addition Bodycote can provide materials consultancy and failure analysis for even the most complex design and application problems.

The Health Sciences Division has a multidisciplinary team of scientists and technicians that provide technology solutions and analytical support to the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer product, agriculture and food industries. Our laboratories offer comprehensive services to address the critical elements of development, manufacturing and quality control. Each of our laboratories has the appropriate accreditation for the key sector(s) that they serve.

The Environmental Division offers laboratory services on a complete range of environmental samples for air, waters & soils (including sediments and wastes), tissues, comprehensive ecotoxicology protocols, processed and crude oil and gas, fuels and lubricants and stack emissions. Analyses are performed using state-of-the-art equipment and accredited using certified methodologies by competent analysts. All of our activities are focused on the needs of our clientele and are governed by a strict quality system. We are particularly conscious of the importance of producing analytical results that are precise, exact, and on time. Furthermore, the data is presented in a clear, concise format and is legally defensible.Bodycote operates laboratories located within Canada, the US , Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Engineering & Technology

Engine Technologies, Canada, US, and Mexico Work on internal combustion engines includes development/ durability tests, steady state/ transient emissions measurement, EPA & Euro Emissions Certification for On-Road & Off-Highway engines. Engine audit testing can be conducted near manufacturing facilities.

Vehicle Systems, Components, Sensors, and Switches Testing, Canada and US Capabilities support design, development, and manufacturing for OEMs and suppliers in Automotive, Aerospace, Military, Construction, and Packaging. Performance validation of components, sub systems and total systems using vibration/ shock, fatigue, environmental, instrumentation, data acquisition/ analysis for component cycling, exhaust, body structure, chassis, and suspension. Electronics capabilities include real time x-ray to analyze sensors and switches. Simulation includes environmental/solar 4 post, 6 post, and 6 DOF MAST. Testing is to recognized standards or tailored for specific needs.
