Description
Kevin J. Sperl is Staff Photographer for The Citizen / Fosters Daily Democrat daily newspapers which cover the Lakes Region and Seacoast areas of New Hampshire. His photos have been recognized numerous times by the Associated Press for “Photo of the Month” and reprinted by trade associations, corporations and nonprofit organizations throughout the State.
He founded KJS Photo in 2002 which specializes in environmental portraiture, events coverage and customized photo montages of family celebrations. His expertise in capturing naturescapes on film was spawned by a three-month, cross-country trip from Newfoundland to British Columbia in the summer of 2001.
During that time, Kevin produced methodically photographed images he describes as “quiet” in contrast to the fast-paced world of photojournalism he currently works in. Many of those images serve as inspiration for Kevin’s current series of naturescape note cards and framed prints.
