DomainBox Project
Purpose: Moving the DomainPage Template information off of the wiki and into the "psuedo-wiki" area of CompostUs. This gives us the better control of the information and the possible ability for a domain-owner to "claim" the domain; claims will be proved by badging.
Process: Starting by gathering a massive list of various types of data about companies we could put in the "box." Please add to the list below. Don't worry if the ideas make little sense, we will be sifting through the list later and reducing to a subset of information.
Suggestions for DBox information
bold items denote current existence in domain page template
- address
- Google map of address
- registrar info
- thumbnail
- languages
- Company logo, domain box header
- motto / company slogan
- NASDAQ listing
- Net profit, yearly, ytd, etc
- CEO, CTO, President, Board Members, other heads
- Length of company existence
- Other domains that point to the same place (?)
- Ownership (Claim this domain) button or banner
- number of employees
