About Linx
Linx designs and manufactures Linx industrial inkjet printers and Xymark laser coders for applying identification codes and ‘use-by’ dates to products and packaging. Based in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, UK, Linx employs over 700 staff worldwide and serves customers in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets across the globe.
Linx acquired Xymark, the laser package coding business of GSI Lumonics, in June 2000 and renamed it Linx Xymark. All Xymark laser products are designed and manufactured at the Linx Xymark facility in Hull, Yorkshire, UK. In the USA, Linx has its own sales, marketing, and customer service operation for Xymark laser coders – Linx Technologies - based in St Louis, MO. A team of regional sales managers and service engineers based in key locations supports Xymark customers throughout the USA.
In other countries, Linx works with qualified and trained independent Distributors (link to Distributor List on UK site). This network covers over 40 countries and represents Linx in the major markets of Europe, North and South America, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and much of Africa.
