Description
The Firm
J.L. Bragg (Ipswich) Ltd was established in 1853. Surviving records show that by 1895 the company was already trading as a Charcoal Biscuit manufacturer.
In 1968 the Government passed the Medicines Act under which manufacturers of pharmaceutical products were required to hold licences both to manufacture and for each product. Since then standards of Quality Control, Hygiene and manufacturing practices have been controlled and improved under the watchful eyes of the Medicines Inspectorate.
In 1997 we moved into new purpose built premises which provide the necessary standard of manufacturing facilities to take the company through into the 21
