Title
THE X-BASE FILES
Description
Al Acker and Neil Freeman started The Xbase Files as a service to our fellow programming community. The original site was called afa-online ( Acker Freeman Associates ) and when incorporated, has become Acker Consulting Inc.
Back when Al and Neil were both doing mostly "xbase" programming, there was an electronic magazine that was devoted to programming tips, product reviews and case studies... all slanted toward the xbase language. Since then it has been impossible to create a magazine that covers all the aspects of our ever expanding community but as we collect information and articles, they will be made available directly via this site.
Although ACI ( Acker Consulting, Inc. ) still does some contract work dealing with the xbase languages, all of our new work is now being written in C++ and Delphi.
