MCFT (Modular Curved Frame Technology)

The Modular Curved Frame Technology (MCFT), a concept relatively new to the sign industry, is an eco-friendly signage solution that has been designed to fill the gap between custom fabricated sign systems and modular sign systems, by offering the best of both worlds. Having the advantages of modern modular sign systems, MCFT has the ability to meet the unique requirements of each sign project by providing highly customizable solutions.

Custom Designed Systems & Modular Sign Systems

Changing sign information in a custom designed system is expensive and cumbersome, as quite often, when only the text and graphics need to be updated, the only viable solution is to replace the whole sign. It is also slow to assemble and deliver, but custom designed systems excel in design uniqueness and complexity. Modular sign systems, on the other hand, make the sign update process comparatively easier, inexpensive and more efficient, but lack unique and flexible designs.

MCFT: Filling the gap

MCFT (Modular Curved Frame Technology) has been designed by sign professionals as a solution to unite the various benefits offered by Custom Designed Systems & Modular Sign Systems. MCFT stands unique in that it has overcome many of the shortcomings exhibited by both modular and custom-made signage by combining the strengths of both systems. MCFT signage allows the sign pro to easily add signs in any size, shape or design, because of its modularity. The curved shape of MCFT, in addition to making it more attractive, uses its strong tension grip to keep the materials firmly in their place.

Many standard sign substrates and inserts including: Engraved, screen printed, photopolymers, Braille, digital printing, vinyl lettering, and such can be inserted with ease to create and update the signs as MCFT is a frame system, which makes it a preferable choice due to the increased ease of use, flexibility, and cost reduction.

MCFT makes available an avenue for the sign pro to participate in the design and development of new products, which allows the system to grow and evolve according to the market’s needs. Using MCFT also makes the shipping and storing process more efficient as it can be dismantled easily.
