- After being an avid insect collector and an enthusiast for years, I often found myself frustrated with the inferior quality of a retail purchased mounted insects, or the lack of modern, architectural styled butterfly frames. This dissatisfaction had induced me to begin experimenting with creating my own insect displays. Through trial and error, I was able to perfect the intricate techniques involved in setting delicate insect specimens, with confidence; I slowly began to replace previously purchased insect displays with my own.
