- In order to provide a simpler way for the community to get involved with the process of reviewing a site, and to expand the wiki philosophy into new areas, we've created a new section on each page called Community Reviews. This is an area for reviews that are fully editable by anyone in the community. In addition to reviewing a site users can also take part in discussions about the site and give the site a Community Rating, described below.
Using the Community Review section
- There are several ways you can use the Community Reviews section. You can add your own review about the site, describing a personal experience. Possibly the most constructive edits users can make will be to clarify or expand on another users review. While anyone can edit the Community Reviews section, users with a conflict of interest should refrain from reviewing the site, but should feel free to contribute to any discussions on the site.
CommunityRatings
- The Community Review rating system allows the community to come up with a consensus rating of the webpage. There are four levels a site can be rated at:
Flagging a site
- Just as the community can give a site a positive rating they can also flag a site for various reasons. Use the discussion area if you think a site should be flagged. Some examples of why a site would be flagged include:
- Spamming
- Scamming
- Squatting
- Phishing
- Other abuse
