The Bausch & Lomb Zyoptix 100 Excimer Laser
.The Zyoptix laser delivers faster treatment times than any other Bausch & Lomb laser. It offers the only custom treatment with combined 1mm and 2mm spot scanning lasers, yeilding higher accuracy. For more standard LASIK operations, PlanoScan is used for nearly 1/4 conventional treatments in the US (1).
Furthermore, the Zyoptix 100 systems operate at twice the speed as the Technolas 217z. When used in conjunction with the Zyoptix platform, the Zyopix 100 is 40% more efficient with fewer treatment phases.
