- The Technolas™ 217z Excimer laser and laser bed used in Zyoptix treatments, has been designed to be comfortable for the patient, yet effective, efficient and easy to use for the surgeon. It is the most widely used laser with in Europe.
The 50 Hz laser head uses cool ultra-violet light to reshape the cornea with the latest flying spot technique. With the unique Zylink software, the Zyoptix system offers one of the fastest systems on the market.
The Zyoptix 100 systems have a faster laser source - in fact at a 100 Hz, it is twice as fast. And when combined with the new laser treatment software, it uses up to 40% less pulses in some treatments and there are less treatment phases. Therefore it should come as now surprise that with the new Zyoptix 100 system, treatments are now more than twice as fast as with the Zyoptix 217z system.
