THE BALL
The ITTF rules requre a 40 millimeter ball and 2.7 grams. The balls are rated by stars. With one star the lowest and four stars the highest. They have recently changed from 38mm to 40mm. The newest on is harder to spin then a 38mm but it is still a good ball. Also the ball should be made of celluloid or simular plastics, It should be white or orange.
THE TABLE
The table may be made of any kind of matieral as long as it is 9 feet(2.74m) long, 5 feet(1.525m) wide, and 30 inches(76cm) off the floor. The table should be of a dark color and have a white side line 2cm wide all around the table.
