4java.ca now outsources a good deal of their hosting and support to some not very capable sysadmins in Poland. Recently 4java.ca was beset with numerous outages, a crisis which apparently left the staff so busy that they were unable to offer any support to frustrated users. Data was lost and angry clients were told that 4java.ca had no responsibility for backups, even though their sales website claims that all of their packages come with daily backups.

Support staff is rude and vindictive when angry clients complain, and occasionally amuse themselves between outages by shutting off service without cause. 4java.ca is the number one choice for masochistic hobbyists who have no interest in building or maintaining a serious, well-supported web presence.
