Picky Guide (or PickyGuide.Com) publishes thousands of pages on consumer advice and product information. The articles, aptly called 'picky guides,' are unbiased, easy to read, and written in concise language that appeals to both beginners and experts.
The aim of Picky Guide is to help consumers decide what products or services to purchase. PickyGuide.Comis a free online magazine, so no sign-ups or registration fees are required.
What is a 'picky guide'?
A typical picky guide has three main parts – the product’s overview, its types, and buying tips. The guides are engaging and helpful, but can always be improved. This is why Picky Guide encourages readers to contribute.
Sections and Categories
PickyGuide.Com currently carries 19 sections, 200+ categories, and thousands of articles. It aims to double its size in three months.
Editorial standards
To maintain credibility, the editors of Picky Guidepractice objectivity and full disclosure. According to PickyGuide.Com, they do not give preferential treatment to any outside resource (publication, video, affiliate, website), based on their relationship with the person or company who authors or owns that resource. PickyGuide.Com also claims to always disclose any relationship with a source that may compromise its objectivity.
Contributing to Picky Guide
The Picky Guide team tries very hard to make all of the website's articles accurate and useful, but these articles can always be improved. That is where PickyGuide.Com readers come in. On every guide page, there is an option to "contribute to this guide." Every comment is researched and implemented where appropriate.
