Hosts-file.net - The Official Home of hpHOSTS: hpguru's HOSTS file
Description
This is the official support site for hpHOSTS, hpguru's hosts file.
hpHosts is a project that until recently, was undertaken by hpGuru, in order to provide internet users with a viable way to protect their computers from spammer, scammer, pornographic, spoofed (aka phishing) and malicious websites.
As of October 2006, hpHosts has been managed by Steven Burn (Ur I.T. Mate Group : it-mate.co.uk). The same goals and principles set out and followed by hpGuru are still applied, and hpHosts remains one of the most used and well known hosts files for Windows, Linux and the MAC, alongside alternatives such as MVPS Hosts (http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm)
