About Me
My name is Aleksey Kurzenkov. I'm an experienced software developer from Russia, now 35 years old (1970 year born). My background is as a scientist, and my scientific specialty is nuclear and elementary particle physics. I graduate from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), the leading Russian educational institute in physics and mathematics. After graduating I worked at the Moscow Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP).
Much of my work at ITEP consisted in writing programs to perform complex calculations to analyze the results of experiments. Later I gave up scientific work, and turned to software development at the AGAVA software company in Moscow. There I developed the skills of professional software developer.
That work was very interesting, but unfortunately I had to leave it because of my illness. I had strong headaches, the result of brain concussion, and due to intense work they were growing more and more. So, I leaved Moscow and returned to my native town of Kovrov (a tiny town in the middle of Russia). Slow lifestyle of a small town appears to be very good for my health.
