UI Designer/Developer

Job responsibilities:

• Producing wireframes, paper prototypes, HTML mockups
• Implementing designs in our web application
• Working directly with user experience designers and developers to deliver great user experiences on new and existing features
• Creating marketing collateral

We are looking for someone with deep experience in UI design:

• At least 5 years experience
• Lives and breathes web standards for CSS and XHTML
• Online portfolio of web applications
• Ability to create prototypes at a variety of levels of fidelity
• Ability to articulate design decisions backed by experience & research

Pluses include:

• Experience with web application and JavaScript frameworks
• Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience using CSS authoring tools to map semantic CSS classes onto the presentational classes of CSS grid systems
• jQuery experience
• Rails experience
• Print design experience

This is an opportunity for people with exceptionally good English writing skills who are looking to work from home on a part time or full time basis. You will:

• Research topics on the internet
• Create lists on these topics
• Write a brief description for each item
• Create a description for the topic itself
