- ASAPA, the Alberta Society for Asian Popular Arts, is a non-profit organization created to be the legal and financial backbone of Animethon. It was formed under the Societies Act of Canada as a democracy, and exists as such; 7 representatives are elected from the core membership body, who form its executive party. This party is charged with ensuring the financial and political security of Animethon, among other things.
