- TrafficWave.net uses a "double opt-in" confirmation which requires any submissions and/or subscription requests to be confirmed before their address can be entered in to the system.
For example, someone filling out a TrafficWave.net subscription form would receive a system confirmation message asking them to confirm that they did, indeed, request the information. They will then click a system-generated link to confirm. If the link is not confirmed, the address is not added to the database.
