Title
Multiplicity, Abuse and Healing
Multiplicity also known as dissociation is a treatable issue should you decide to seek treatment for yourself. It is my hope that other survivors find this website helpful. I ask that you take care when reading some the articles to keep yourself grounded as there are no trigger warnings. On this website you will find many resources in the form of articles, as well as relevant books.
10 Things I Want You To Know
Have you recently been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, dissociative identity disorder or any diagnosis relating to the abuse in your past? What do you do with that diagnosis or label? Many abuse survivors take their diagnosis and research it on the internet, talk to friends, or family to try to make sense of the spiral they find themselves falling into. Some survivors join an online support group or forum and begin to immerse themselves into the role of survivor. On the surface there appears to be nothing wrong with finding others who have been through the same things we've been through. It might help us feel less alone. It might help us realize that what happened to us was not our fault.
1 You are more than a victim of sexual abuse survivor. 2 You are more than a person who was ritually abused or programmed. 3 You are more than a person who was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. 4 You are more than a person who was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. 5 You are more than a person who was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder. 6 You are more than someone's child. 7 You are more than someone's brother or sister. 8 You are more than someone's mother or father. 9 You are more than someone's friend. 10 You are more than any label or symptom.
Please remember, using any label to define who you are can be a problem if you forget that you are more than any label or symptom.

M-A-H (Many Are Harmed) by "Fake" Expert
- I find it interesting that the 3 other reviews that were not complimentary to this site were removed. I'll add one and see if aboutus is stooping to a new low by not allowing users (who have reviewed a site) to make honest comments about a site - positive and negative.
she is not a health professional (even says so on her site) but that she does as in fact pass herself off as an "expert" on multiplicity. This site espouses a "limited" harmful view on multiplicity. The site is no more than a business to make a living off of people who join the site; and those dupes who trade "promoting" each others sites - to make more money --- and at the same time slamming those of us who do not agree with her limited views. If you follow the linked sites you will see what I mean.

Sorry For Your Unhappiness...
- I do not even run MAH Network Forums and haven't for 2+ years. Henry runs the Forums and makes the day to day decisions about banning. As I am not affiliated with aboutus.org website I have no control over the content put on this website.
There are many forums online for abuse survivors, perhaps if you and the people you say are felt rejected at MAH Network can join another website? Perhaps you have trouble fitting into a support formatted forum? Maybe you can start a website for yourselves? For the record I am not a professional and no where on MAH Network does it state that I am. Best of luck on your healing journeys.
