Applescript and Scripting Resources @ MacScripter
Description
Adam is a retired Mechanical Engineering Professor now wannabe expert AppleScripter. In his academic life he specialized in the dynamic analysis, design, and computer control of machinery and taught a bunch of courses related to those at SUNY@Buffalo, then Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and finally Dalhousie University (in Nova Scotia, Canada).
Adam was Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and then Dean of Engineering during the last decade of his career so got a bit out of touch, but scripting is a great hobby. He's married and has three children clustering around 40 and 7 grandchildren. Besides scripting, and helping a bit with MacScripter, he spends time in a small but fast boat exploring the nooks and crannies of Nova Scotia's harbors and lakes.
Ben Waldie is president of Automated Workflows, LLC, a company offering AppleScript and workflow automation consulting to Mac-based businesses. For years, Ben has developed custom automated solutions for businesses across the globe, including Adobe Systems, Apple Computer, CNN, PC World, and Time Magazine.
