About
Basement.org is the voice of me, Richard Ziade. I am a partner and lead strategist at Arc90, a New York City-based technology consulting firm that focuses on experience design and next-generation web technologies. Arc90 is the current chapter in a career that, while varied, has been incredibly fulfilling and challenging. I've worked the spectrum - from large investment banks to the smallest of startups to freelance consulting. I graduated from law school in 1995, took a hard left from the law into technology, and never looked back.
Of all my experiences, Arc90 is the most fulfilling and challenging. I'm in the enviable position of being able to challenge common conventions and thinking about design and technology. I'm fortunate enough to have colleagues and clients that embrace these unique approaches to building great experiences on the Web. You can learn a lot more about Arc90 by visiting the blog and lab.
