Description
Description: Interface with the folks at AddThis to ensure no unintended consequences to using their code. Work with Vinh to get AddThis added to every page. Work with Ward to ensure a successful departure from using AddThis. Using AddThis will mean that we do not have to take development time to create our own system.
Why?
Business Reason: Using AddThis is a quick and simple way for AboutUs to get into the Social Bookmarking "space." Social Bookmarking is yet another way to introduce community & a viral element to the site.
Done When
We are successfully using AddThis and are comfortable that when we stop using them we will not experience any loss of data.

- How the task went: This task began on 12 September during a discussion between Mark and Julia when they "remembered" that the decision to add social networking links was made months ago. This prompted a discussion between Vinh, Ward, Ray, Mark & Julia. They decided that AddThis would be an effective mechanism to use for social networking.
During this iteration, Julia spoke with AddThis on 19 September & with Ward, making the decision that we should "turn on" AddThis. The folks at AddThis suggested that we call them with our user name because they can give us additional stats. We are waiting for Vinh to prioritize.
