IHSDM is a free software tool for highway safety analysis that predicts crash frequencies and evaluates road design consistency. Developed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), it serves transportation engineers and safety professionals assessing rural and urban roadways. The current version (13.1.0, released March 2018) implements AASHTO's Highway Safety Manual predictive methods and includes modules for crash prediction, design review, and economic analysis.
