In August of 2008 as a hobby I began to photograph and gather information about the "rock walls”of Northern California. Initial examination indicated most rock walls were not walls at all, but best described as rock lines that serve no purpose. Researching, photographing and mapping of the rock lines shows that there is two general categories.
