HAL Technologies is based in Cape Town South Africa. We specialize in RAD/P Rapid application development and prototyping as well as internet e-commerce system design and implementation, website design and development, CDROM/DVD interactive media communications and sales aids. We have extensive experience in online transaction systems and designed and conceptualized the world's first media space transaction system in 1995 called HAL Interactive. This system bridged the transaction gap between the ad agency (media specialists) on the one side and the media owner on the other. Media planners/buyers were able to purchase media space in real time in a secure environment over the internet via the HAL system. Special features included inventory control and conflict management. HAL Interactive was the only space transaction system in South Africa endorsed by the South African media directors circle.
