- Candidates will start on the 1st of October 2008 and end May 31st, 2009 for a total duration of 8 months.
The successful H2B worker will work in the manufacturing sector as a Packer/Warehouse Helper in Tennessee or Alabama. Participants will work a 12 hour shift earning $8.00 per hour. If they work overtime, they will earn an additional $12 per hour. Upon completion of the full- term of the visa they will receive a bonus of $0.50 per hour for all hours worked. Housing is secured. The rent is $250 per month and will be deducted from the paycheck. Further costs to be deducted from the paycheck are transportation $30 per week and insurance $40 per week.
The eligibility criteria: Candidates should be 18 to 45 years old Candidates should have English Level 4 out of 10 Candidates should have a minimum of secondary school education All candidates interested in applying for seasonal employment program will need to provide the following documents: Registration fee Completed application Passport Copy Resume / CV Proof of completion of secondary education Recommendation from previous employers (Reference), if available Passport size photo Criminal record (may be supplied after the initial deadline, but no later than June 20) All information provided in the application forms and other materials must be true and accurate. Recommendations and certificates from places of previous employment or educational institutions must be drawn on official letterheads and must contain full information of the entity and manager's names, telephone numbers and address. All documents must be in English language only or translated by certified translator.
