Gerber/Hart Library is the Midwest's largest LGBT circulating library, founded in 1981 to preserve records and resources of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and organizations. Located in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood, it holds over 14,000 volumes, 800 periodical titles, and 100 archival collections, serving researchers and readers across the Chicago metro area and beyond through interlibrary loan.
