Gladewater’s City Council appointed a new city judge Thursday night to replace Municipal Judge Carolyn Kizer and found out it would soon be appointing a new Main Street manager after Lon Welton turned in his resignation. Donna Blalock was named interim municipal court judge for 90 days. Blalock, 37, serves as the associate municipal judge in White Oak ands has filled in for Judge Kizer, whose resignation is effective Dec. 26.
