- Function Junction was started in 2000 by Paul Johnstone and Jonny Stoll. Paul had founded and led his own top function band for several years, but decided to give up the rigorous touring schedule to start his own agency booking his old band along with other high quality bands that he had worked with. He also had the idea of using the web to showcase the artists he represented, under the catchy name of Function Junction. Paul turned to his local enterprise agency for advice on how to build up the company, and Jonny Stoll, his business adviser, thought the idea was so good, that he decided to join Paul in the business!
