Fitness Training Consortium, FTCNE.COM, provide the following services of; • Training Provision (both nationally recognised and training tailored to individual and employer needs) • Information and Advice (Nextstep provision) • IT provision- Internet access • Young persons mentoring service • Enterprise and funding guidance • Exploration of new markets within the Leisure Industry • The Creation and Facilitation of Adult Sporting Leagues FTC has been an accredited training provider for the last five academic years. To date we have delivered training in sport, exercise and I.T., accredited through awarding bodies OCR, 1st 4 Sport, Sports Leaders UK, NOCN, CYQ and Active IQ. Pass rates at approximately 70+% and retention at 80+ %; Entries to employment currently at 44% within 6 weeks of training and 89% into work within 6 months. Our services have spanned from LSC delivery that has covered New Deal; E2E; Train to Gain (EQ8); Skillsfit and 16-18yrs full-time provision, alongside bespoke activity requested by Local Governments (Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Hartlepool), Positive Futures, Business Link and Connexions. Whereby target groups have included those out work, young offenders, lone parents, ethnic minorities, 50+ and sedentary populations. We are situated in the Ouseburn Valley area of Newcastle, where we operate as a UK online centre, housing an IT resource suite alongside dance studio, gym and changing facilities. We also have access to a nearby all-weather pitch and full size outdoor arena
