ForWord Girls is an all-girl spoken word festival held in San Francisco, with its inaugural edition taking place in fall 2002. The event was created to provide a dedicated space for women writers and spoken word performers of all cultures and ages. Its programming spans poetry, performance, and oral storytelling, drawing participants from across the country.
