The First National Bank of Wahoo, Nebraska was organized on the 15th day of July, 1882 with a capital stock of $50,000. We merged with our sister banks in Sterling and Burchard Nebraska in 1992 and our combined assets total $51,000,000. We have since grown to $110,000,000 in assets, total capital exceeding $10,000,000 and 27 full and part-time dedicated employees. We remain not only the oldest bank in Saunders County but also the largest locally owned bank.
