THE FOND DU LAC SYMPHONIC BAND is a part-time professional, adult concert band. Its home community is a city of approximately 40,000 residents located at the south end of Lake Winnebago in a predominantly agricultural area of east-central Wisconsin, some 60 miles northwest of Milwaukee. The Symphonic Band is the direct successor to the Fond du Lac Military Band, which was founded in 1898.
