First Baptist Church of Artesia exists to EXALT the Savior and to reach the world by leading people to KNOW Christ, to GROW in Christ, to SERVE Christ, and to PROCLAIM Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. First Baptist Church of Artesia was organized in 1904- one year before the city of Artesia was incorporated and twelve years before New Mexico became a state. Through those 100+ years of existence, we have seen God grow our congregation & facilities.
