Expo Étroubles - l'arte nel comune di Étroubles

The alpine village Étroubles is in Valle d'Aosta, an Italian region in the north of Italy, in the middle of the Great Saint Bernard valley.
It’s 16 km far both from Aosta and the Great St. Bernard hill.

Since 2005 the mayor, Massimo Tamone, has been busy organizing cultural events to enhance local economy. Up to now, the Open Air Museum "À ÉTROUBLES, AVANT TOI SONT PASSÉS..." can be regarded as the most important of these events. It was opened on 20th may 2005, anniversary of Napoleon's stop over in Étroubles (AO), along the Via Francigena, the ancient road to Rome. "À ÉTROUBLES, AVANT TOI SONT PASSÉS..." was carried out by Alessandro Parrella (the chairman of Parrellarte), in close cooperation with Léonard Gianadda, chairman of the prestigious Fondation Pierre Gianadda in Martigny, sponsored by the European Social Fund, Regione Valle d'Aosta, Comune di Étroubles and other italian private sponsors. The Étroubles Open Air Museum hosts the works of:

Rodin et Claudel - Création et matière will be visitable until august the 31st 2007.
This exposition presents sculptures and drawings of August Rodin and 3 sculptures of Camille Claudel from the private collection of the Fondation Pierre Gianadda.
