The Medical Informatics Research Group (MIRG) at Thompson Rivers University was formed in 2006. We are involved in multidisciplinary research, with a primary focus of developing practical clinical systems to improve the health and overall quality of patients' life. Our group is interested in applications of computers in medicine and the development of novel methods to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
