At eHealth Ontario, we realize that taxpayers’ money must be spent wisely and that we – as a government agency – must be accountable. There’s no arguing with that. However, early on in our mandate, and in our zeal to produce results quickly, we gave short shrift to these two important principles. We apologize for not meeting taxpayers’ expectations. We promise to do better. In fact, we are already moving in the direction of better.
