This Web site was launched in November 2002 to encourage the development of D-Day: Normandy, a Quake2 modification. D-Day was created by the development team Vipersoft, which created and supported the game over the course of several years. But in 2002, the last version of D-Day, version 4.1, was released. Sometime after this, Vipersoft announced official development to the game was finished, and there would be no more official releases.
