The District of Columbia Comprehensive AIDS Resource and Education Consortium, Inc. (DC CARE Consortium, or DCCC) was created June 19, 1991 in response to Title II of the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency Act. Since that time, DCCC has grown into a 501 (c)(3) service provider with a membership of sixty-five HIV/AIDS service providers and community-based organizations.
