Owners Douglas Rice and James Hannon have backgrounds in dial retrieval media systems, language laboratories and television studios extending back to 1968 where they met at Chester Electronic Laboratories (CEL). CEL, founded by David Joslow, was a leader in the US marketplace for language laboratories and dial retrieval audio/video systems. As CEL employees, Jim and Doug were involved in all aspects of engineering, production, system sales, installation and service.
