COFEAT (CoFeat.org) is a parent-run organization serving families of children with autism, focused on Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI). It functions as a peer forum where caregivers can discuss issues, ask questions, and share information — explicitly not a source of medical or psychological advice. Founded in January 1997 by co-founders John and Lisa Esmond and Dawn Hayes, it is one of the earlier parent-advocacy communities dedicated to EIBI for autistic children.
