The Group was formed from a group of maladjusted indviduals who, with a passion for extreme adventure, set out to ensure that those canny Crowlanders with the urge for adrenaline (not the brown kind), could pursue their sport, safe in the knowledge that a mountain rescue team was always on standby in the event of a climber being caught out in extreme or dangerous conditions.
