CAASL is an acronymn for curve and a straight line. When I worked for AT&T–Unisource, a pan–European telecommunications company with global reach, their house style guidelines included a requisite curve and a straight line. As the graphic web designer for their intranet sites I was given this style guide to work with. Later, I took it for my company name, I liked the myriad of possibilies that the name suggests whilst emphasising the structure of design.
